Xiaomi held one of its most important domestic launch events of the year, officially introducing Xiaomi 15 Series, Xiaomi Pad 7, and Xiaomi HyperOS 2 to Mainland China.

Xiaomi 15 series debuts Snapdragon® 8 Elite Mobile Platform.

Recently announced by Qualcomm, Snapdragon® 8 Elite features the advanced second-generation 3nm process, PC-level dual primary core architecture, and includes two second-generation Oryon super cores, sharing the same foundation as the Qualcomm flagship PC platform, Snapdragon X Elite. This architecture brings the most significant performance leap of the last decade amongst Snapdragon’s flagship platforms, with CPU performance increasing by 42% and GPU performance by 44%. The NPU is capable of seamless integration with Xiaomi’s HyperAI subsystem, delivering up to 80 TOPS of comprehensive computing power to enable on-device AI functions. Continue reading →
